Touching Up a Plein Air Painting

Here's a plein air painting I did in Port St. Joe. It's been on my drying rack for some time. When Plein Air Magazine sent an email with their submission theme, "City Sites" and a fast approaching deadline, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I liked my painting, but I knew there were a few things to brighten up. On the left is the original, then on the right is the touched up version. As you can see, there were just a few value changes that needed done, but I'm happy with the end result. Now let's just keep our fingers crossed that it will make the cut for the magazine!
